Tune ups are one of the most important ways to maintain not only the safety but the smooth functioning of your bike. We have three key tunes to meet a variety of needs:

SAFETY CHECK
· Frame inspection and cleaning
· Brakes, shifters, pedals, kickstand and drive train checked
· Pressure and inflation of tires
· Alignment and adjustment of saddle and handlebars

· Wheels trued
· Brake and shifting cables adjusted
· Chain, derailleurs lubricated and adjusted
· Headset adjusted
· Rear derailleur hanger adjusted
· Complete wash down of bike

PRO TUNE
· All of the BASIC TUNE plus
· Removal, complete cleaning and lubrication of crank arms, front & rear derailleur and chain
· Rims, frame and fork cleaned and thoroughly polished
· Brake calipers disassembled, cleaned and corrected
· Spokes tensioned and wheels trued / dished
· Hubs, brackets & headset disassembled and repacked

Some additional charges may be incurred as we work on your bike. We will notify you of these charges prior to continuing work. Also, generally, disc brakes and high end road / carbon fiber bikes will have an addition set of charges. We will advise you of those charges upon intake of the bike. We do work on recumbents, tandems and trikes, but other than flats, all of those type of bikes have a minium of $50 charge in labor.
